* Explore an alternative approach creating the git archive: include
only the modules that are used by Kudu and its thirdparty
components. That way the compressed source tarball is ~4.5x times
smaller in size: 28MiB vs 127MiB
This is one of the preliminary updates in the context of KUDU-3788.
The main motivation behind this update is to use cmake for building
the Boost library instead of the built-in b2 tool. With cmake-based
build now it's possible to stage the pre-built binaries into a custom
DESTDIR while still keeping pre-defined PREFIX which doesn't depend on
the location of the staging directory.
And of course, the new version comes with many improvements and updates.
In Boost 1.91.0, the BOOST_UUID_RANDOM_PROVIDER_FORCE_POSIX macro does
not exist anymore: platform-specific entropy providers were removed and
random generators switched to std::random_device since 1.86.0 [1].
As it turns out, none of the shenanigans with explicitly setting
compiler for --with-toolset are necessary when building with cmake
since it's smart enough to derive proper toolset from CC and CXX
variables.
