Thanks, this looks good to me. In the long term, I think we were thinking
of making spark-shell be a small shim around calling spark-app. In order to see
that happen eventually, we will need their APIs to match precisely right now so
we can muck with the implementation later.
Since Spark 1.0 pull request freeze is planned for April 1, I'm planning to
go ahead and merge this now and iterate if necessary to make the arguments
equivalent with those in #86 before the release.
