@rxin I agree about the name itself, though that by itself is minor.
Yeah it seems like, if it were done again, this param wouldn't maybe exist.
Given that it does, what do you think about adding it to the Java API in the
name of consistency? Or is it more important to discourage its use?
That is, would you merge this or no? I don't feel strongly but am hoping to
resolve the question.
