    An RDD that handles read exceptions with `Try` does seem useful to me - 
I've seen a decent amount of boilerplate used to accomplish the same thing.  Is 
there a reason this is HadoopRDD-specific?  I.e. why not provide something like 
a TryRDD that can wrap any RDD doing a risky operation?
