I spent some time with this and I found that at 1000 tasks the performance
is pretty bad. It hangs up when I try to zoom around. Have you tested this with
large numbers of tasks? I did a bit of profiling and it seemed like maybe the
tooltip library was the culprit. Can you spend a bit of time profiling this and
seeing if we can make it work well for 1000 tasks? You can use the profiler in
the browser.
