@HyukjinKwon - How are you feeling about this PR? Shall I recruit another committer to take a look instead? I have the time and motivation to migrate all of our config documentation to use this new system. As I noted in a previous comment, there are around 55 config tables across our documentation that span several thousand lines of manually maintained HTML.
