I think I have a decent fix for the problem. Basically, the idea is that the Jekyll layout that inserts all these navbar links should be aware of what page it is on, and depending on the depth, it should insert the right amount of `../`'s to get "back" to the `/docs/<version>/` part of the URL. You can see the approach [here](https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/47864/commits/44ce5d425081af62125c72957f362d0fd2e0f5ec#diff-729ad9c4e852768f70b7c45195e7e5f8271a7f3146df73045e441d024b907819R1-R6).
