The `cleanupBarrierStage` is called as part of cleanup process in
`OnStageCompleted` and `state.clear` is called
[here](https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/core/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/BarrierCoordinator.scala#L230)
as part of `OnStop`, hence I introduced it in the `finally` block as part of
the cleanup process as part of Thread interruption cleanup
