@steveloughran, do you mean file length should be sufficient for all known fs to read the Parquet file (if we don't consider advanced features), if so, I think I can make the proposed change - constructing the basic `FileStatus` (basically, only path and length/offset info) from the executor side directly -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
