Hi @pan3793 and @huaxingao,
An update on our progress: We have officially initiated the 72-hour release
vote for Log4j 2.26.1 on the developer mailing list [1, 2]. The Release
Candidate (RC1) is staged and includes the definitive fix for the exception
rendering issues (#3933, #4143) [1].
Additionally, we are planning to backport these critical stability fixes to
the 2.25.x line as a 2.25.5 patch release [1]. Our team is currently working on
this backport, and we expect to make it available shortly [1].
Choose the best path adapt for `Spark`
Upgrading to the upcoming 2.26.1 release.
Staying on the 2.25.x line and upgrading to the backported 2.25.5
release.
I will update this thread again as soon as the current 2.26.1 vote concludes
[1].
