### What changes were proposed in this pull request? We have a few places where we check whether a directory exists before calling `os.makedirs`. Change these instances to instead simply pass `exist_ok=True`. ### Why are the changes needed? Simpler, more idiomatic use of the Python standard library. Not that it matters (I don't think), this also reduces the window for race conditions. ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change? No. ### How was this patch tested?
