Process-wise, can we please create a new Spark JIRA ticket to track this? SPARK-56632 is already Resolved in 4.2.0 by #55582. This is a remaining bug, so we can create a new Bug ticket. This will give new versions a distinct changelog id. Also cc @zhengruifeng (who drove the original fix) & @HyukjinKwon who also has context here, should we backport this down to 4.2?
