What about an optional command line argument to start-slaves.sh /
start-slave.sh that would enable using `hostname -f`? Or an environment
variable? That way IP addresses could stay the default behavior.
I guess SPARK-6440 was an intentional change to default to using IP
addresses instead of hostnames, but especially when using start-slaves.sh /
start-slave.sh it would be nice to have the hostnames functionality back.
