Does this result in tasks that appear to be hung in the UI, where they
never show up as completed?
Also, what about tasks where the task result was sent directly, so there's
nothing stored on the executor (e.g., the task did a count, or saved data to
HDFS)? In that case, it doesn't seem like we should be ignoring the
task-completion message, right?
