Leaving the code review to vanzin I checked out and ran your updated code
and found a few issues.
You should probably merge the latest code, the ui has been undergoing a
handful of updates recently that you should check for compatibility with.
On the executors page the links for logs don't use the proxy.
When spark-shell is run it still says "Spark context Web UI available at
http://localhost:4040"; even though you have disabled that with the proxy.
