When comparing between permanent views and the global temporary views, I am
trying to list the major differences:
- the scope of permanent views is cross-application; the scope of global
temp views is cross-session but only accessible in the same application.
- the definition of permanent views is permanently recorded in the external
catalog; the definition of global temp views is lost after the application
stops.
Is my understanding right?
