In standalone mode I was thinking of this case: Master calls removeWorker()
-> sends ExecutorUpdated -> StandaloneAppClient -> StandaloneSchedulerBackend,
which generates the SlaveLost message.
I don't know about Mesos though, would the shuffle service be running on a
separate container from the executor?
