    @nchammas thanks for taking the time to start reviewing this. I think the 
blogpost for this part of the feature would say something along the lines of 
"More easily install & manage PySpark with your Python packaging tools" - and 
once we have the second part finished "Easily get started with PySpark by 
installing from PyPI". (Also libraries could explicitly have requirements on 
PySpark instead of the current state, the hack of findspark would be less 
important, etc.)
    
    Its also something which a lot of users have been asking us for (see the 
people on the previous PR https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/8318 as well as 
the mailing list discussion)
