    OK right, so the problem is still fundamentally about not deleting open 
files. The recursive deletion itself is OK on Windows.
    
    I sort of still favor using Utils.deleteRecursively and catching the 
exception for consistency. The one thing that could let us do is only ignore 
the exception on Windows, in the tests, because we don't expect any such error 
on other OSes.
    
    What do you think, is that overkill?
