And `parquet-avro` really only is used in test scope. So this change does make sense as-is (though, maybe use version 1.8.1?) Then I agree that updating across the board to 1.8 is a separate question. It would be nice to be consistent but this is a hot-fix and that is a nice-to-have. OK.
