    shouldn't this be `!abortSet.contains(taskSetManager)`??
    
    we should also have a test to make sure that it works correctly when one 
taskSet gets aborted, but another taskset is fine.
    
    also I'd rename it to `abortedTaskSets` (everywhere else too)
