@mridulm @jiangxb1987 @vanzin thanks for taking the time to review this. Is
there another round of reviews that you guys would want to do here? We're
hoping to get this and just **one other** PR (the client logic and sparksubmit
changes) associated with this k8s mode into 2.3 (the other PR is being worked
on, and will be sent upstream shortly).
A modest goal for 2.3 would be to enable just static executors on
Kubernetes - no R or Python yet, or dynamic allocation.
It would help get some usage and feedback as well. WDYT? Does that seem
feasible to everyone?
Lastly, on the integration testing, there has been a lot of progress and
with a little more time, we should have them sorted and enabled on RiseLabCI,
(thanks to @shaneknapp!).
