@srowen Scala 2.12 branch also has the wrong message printing order issue.
I don't know if I have enough time to finish the work of the consolidation
of Scala 2.11 and 2.12 codebase, so I will work on it in another PR so we will
not be blocked.
Can you help me to review this PR?
