I just had a discussion with @marmbrus and I think these jars are actually
pretty important. For this reason I think it would be best if we pull this into
1.2. The existing approach looks fine to me as an intermediate solution. @jimjh
would you have a chance to address the comments soon? I think @pwendell is
ready to cut another RC in the next day or two.
