@srowen +1 for this functionality. It sounds handy for experts and
necessary for beginner users.
What do you think of using ```numBins``` instead of
```downsamplingFactor```? If I want to plot a ROC curve, I'd want to specify
the number of points in the curve instead of computing the downsampling factor.
