ajithme commented on issue #24056: [SPARK-26152] Synchronize Worker Cleanup with Worker Shutdown URL: https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/24056#issuecomment-471579398 the lock makes sure that during submission of tasks (multiple tasks are submitted as part of the loop), the executorpool is not shutdown.. if i remove the lock, the exception may still reoccurr right.?
