   From a user's perspective, do they care if the jars are uploaded to a subdir 
of the given path? if not, seems like a decent step to ensure isolation. It 
doesn't complicate Spark or the user's experience, does it? unless I miss 
something. 
   
   I guess my logic is like: I may specify a temp dir to an app but would 
expect the app to manage what's in there as it sees fit.
