   Alright, this is needlessly escalated, let's just set that aside please. 
This is a minor technical question. Let's talk about the technical arguments.
   
   So far my opinion is that it does seem useful to establish subdirectories 
for isolation, but I feel like I'm missing the counterargument. What problem 
does it cause for the user, or for the Spark code? Is it more complex?
