@EntilZha The discussion was about what *private* interfaces Gibbs sampling
needs. It is definitely useful, but the one really blocks this PR would be
whether the public APIs proposed are compatible with Gibbs. I feel it would be
easier to discuss the changes you proposed along with the Gibbs implementation
in a later PR.
