 Review comment:
   I'm not sure `SparkEnv` is necessary. I looked at our Async implementation, 
and we only use `SparkEnv` to get the rpc endpoint for communications between 
the executor and driver, which doesn't seem like something that's necessary for 
most implementations.
   
   I'll update the docs though
