Review Comment:
   `tryRequiredNode` calls `tryNode`. `tryNode` does `Filter` checks using 
`Predicates` API. So, `PreFilter` call has to be made before this for sure so 
that `cycleState` is generated for later use in `Filter`  checks.
   
   Only thing we can do here is, ignore the `PreFilter` results only but not 
the "call" and move on by not skipping the required node. Hope this aligns with 
your thoughts.
