@manirajv06 why predicate checks were removed for DaemonSet pods? I did compare this new behavior to that of the default scheduler and now the following checks are not performed by us: - NodeResourcesFit (not a problem, we check natively) - NodePorts - VolumeBinding / NodeVolumeLimits / VolumeZone - TaintToleration (not a problem because DS controller already pre-checked) - NodeAffinity (redundant, so it's ok) - Inter-pod affinity / topology spread With this change, we modify the semantics of DS pod scheduling, ie. we no longer enforce certain constraints.
