Seems to me, it would be a really fine thing for the repos on the install source (CDs, DVD or network) to be added automatically.
I wholeheartedly agree. To retain the information of where it was installed from (nfs, http, ftp, etc) so you can install more software from the original installation location would sure be nice.
Now that the baseimage is broken up into three different repodata areas, it makes it much more diffictult to resolve dependencies by hand. Especially now while yum (up2date plugin) is broken (issues with both proxy and metadata checksums). :(
