A RHEL5 Xen guest on RHEL5 host should work fine. I'm running a few at the moment.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that.

No error message at all? Anything in /var/log/xen/xend.log on the host server?

No. I assume the xen worked perfectly, maybe the installer was wrong, altought the source seems OK.

It'd be useful to know how far the installer actually got before it stopped too..

The installer had been about 90% of the packages, when the process stopped. The devices had enough free capacity, the host seemed to work perfectly, the nfs export was reachable by other client. No indication about the error, no network outage.

(Well, I'm sorry about this poor report, I was too tired to get more exact infos, I'll work on it.)
