I am trying to insatll RHEL 5 beta 1 via http.
My server is setup like this:
mounted iso files 1..5 to /rdist/disc1 ... /rdist/disc5
First the install process protested that it did not find 'repodata'
until I told the installation script to start from
/rdist/disc1/Server
Then the install process went through the usual keyboard, screen
configuration and hard disc partitioning steps.
After that, it failed with some message about not finding the proper
installation tree.
I assume that I have not set up the /rdist area correctly but do not
find where this is documented.
is there an installation manual, as there was for RHEL 4?
The Release notes where not helpful, and the docs-iso file does not seem
to contain manuals in a format I can use.
