The install stopping 90% of the way through installing the packages sounds like it may be a problem with your install tree, if it is repeatable. A missing or corrupted RPM file, for example.

The guest shouldn't be running out of space to install into, as anaconda checks that..

Does it always stop when installing the same RPM? If so, which RPM is it? Does installing the same package set work, or fail, when installing on real hardware, rather than on a Xen guest?
