I am still trying to install from mounted iso images via http.

The start of the installation is made from
/rdist/disc1/Server

As installation key, I have given 'SV'

and Anaconda proceeds as it should until after disk partitioning, the root password is set.

Then I get the error message:

--- quote ---
Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install tree has been correctly generated. Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository.
anaconda-cs-200608302344.i386
--- end quote ---

I don't know what is meant by 'creating install tree correctly'.

I have mounted the five iso images to /rdist/disc1 ... disc5,
burned a CDROM from iso disc1, booted the machine from that cdrom, told it to boot with: linux askmethod chose http as the method, and directed to the server with the mounted iso images.
