Actually, the RHN protocol/format has changed to support the Yum plugin
for RHN.  Rather than adapting the RHN protocol into what Yum expects,
RHN was made to export the Yum metadata XML files.  There is still some
XMLRPC calls for authentication and authentication tokens in the HTTP
headers as was done before.  Looks like the registration process is
still much the same as it was before.

Red Hat has announced that they will port the changes to all supported
versions of Satellite which I believe is 3.7 and up.  I *think* that
the way Proxy works that it doesn't need changes but I'm not completely
sure.
