I've installed lm_sensors, it shows 65-70 Celsius degrees under RHEL5.
Unfortunately the FC4-based lm_sensors doesn't work yet, I can't compare
them.

When I switch on the machine after a shutdown, the temperature in the
BIOS is above 80 degrees, and slowly cooling down. So it's a clue that
the CPU is really overheated.
