Why oh why was avahi [re-]installed and enabled with the update to 5.3?!
Rpm '--whatrequires' indicates nothing requires it, except avahi-compat-libdns_sd, and nothing requires that (it was also installed). There seems to be a little "rpm creep" with every update level change, a couple of rpms installed that weren't there before, but this time there were several, and this in particular is incomprehensible to me, inexcusable really, on an enterprise server OS.
Also, any idea what this is about (also on every updated system, none of which had sftp enabled in sshd_config):
