Hi,
I would like to determine the RedHat version during a kickstart in a
pre-script.
I was thinking of checking the /etc/redhat-release file, but that
file is copied over after the pre-install onto the disk.
Is there a way of fetching it of the cd ? If yes, on which location
can I find it ?
Other suggestions are also welcome !
Check running processes, the anaconda commandline should have the -m
flag which if you name your url paths nicely enough you could grep it
out of that.
cheers,
Andy
