Is it possible to look on the CD and check the version of the
redhat-release package? I'm pretty sure Anaconda is consistent where it
mounts the CD during installation (just alt+fX into a console and run
mount to see) and then it'd be in i386/SL/RPMS/.

If there is more than one CD? Who's to say it's on the first?
