Yeah, it is getting old.  I know they like their surprises, but you know
they have internal targets and timelines.  They are producing products
for the enterprise, and enterprises have to plan.  When Red Hat won't
help with the plan, the plan is going to exclude Red Hat.

I'd much rather have a loose target (e.g. November 2010 or even Q4 2010)
that may change than the mystery game we get from Red Hat now.  Sure,
"release it when it is ready", but if you have no clue when it might be
ready, that doesn't say much for your project management.

RHEL 6 appears to be based on a mix between Fedora 12 and 13, plus some
stuff that looks like it is from Fedora 14 development (looking at the
RHEL 6 betas).  If the target is still moving, RHEL 6 will never get
released.
