I'm amazed that of only 15 out of about 1,000 in the Junior class (I
assume that is the approximate number) that you were selected by the
seniors in Skull and Bones to join them. Are you blue-blood Ed? I've known
you a long time but I never would have guessed that you were in with that
crowd.
If Kerry went out of his way to try to solicit a member who was an intern
while Kerry was a Senator, I assume at the behest of the Seniors - then
the influence factor extends way beyond the campus and it must be
considered more than mere fantasy and games. I think describing it as
game-like is devaluing the whole process and the Bonesman had a wholly
different perspective on their importance as Bonesman. Robbins, who was
also a Yalee also saw it differently and she does say that this was the
most powerful secret society in the world. Why would she say that if it
wasn't true? Did you know Alexandria Robbins?

My uncle, who was one of 9 children on my father's side was the first to
go to a university where he studied sociology and health or social work
and later taught at Pitt and then worked for the national government for
several administrations assessing nursing homes (his specialty).. I used
the G.I. Bill to get a degree, mostly by extension, which prepared me for
a 40 year career in real estate as a developer and broker - after 8 years
in the army (and 3 years in military school). Most of the
cousins and our children have gone on to college.
My great grandfather in Russia was a (Jewish) lawyer and judge at a time
preceding the greater difficulties to be experienced in Russia. But there
have been no blue-bloods in my family. Just tailors and peasants and
experienced great difficulty trying to get into the professions which in
the late 1800 when there was an increase in antisemitism they fled to
England and then to the U.S. My paternal grandfather's name was Cholmetsky
but he changed it to an American name: Goldberg.
My wife is Jewish (almost years) Cherokee-Irish and German and
Philippine. No Rothchilds and no blue-bloods in our ancestry.
