To Wesley
While I appreciate and share with you your concern for justice for
Palestinians -- (and Israelis), have you no concern for Iraqis? I only
raise the point as a point of order here because you have never, to my
awareness, ever expressed it in this forum. The difficulties which arise
in Israel are certainly our business. So are the difficulties right now
affecting the starving Sudanese and in Eritrea, but most especially where
we can really make our voices heard and cause others to become outrages by
our own outrage over the Bush policies in Iraq and uneven policies towards
the fanatics in Saudi Arabia and the fanatic monarchy in Kuwait where
citizens are being abused regularly and there is no democracy, like there
is in Israel - where those Israelis you quote live and speak out because
they can whereas that is not possible in Palestinian culture nor Saudi
Arabia, nor Kuwait, now elsewhere outside of Israel. Just curious.....
mind you.
