Indeed, warnings tend to get neglected.
On the other hand, since it's rather easy to do this now already
(with the code I pasted before), this doesn't do anything new, just
makes it easier to do so. So I guess it might just as well be added.
What do others think?
There's one thing that breaks we this also though, you can't just jar
up your templates and elements anymore and include them at any
location into another site. Any getHtmlTemplate() call in there will
then fail. Currently, you can pretty much take any site-structure and
reuse it that way.
Well, that would fall in those 20%, I guess. You could add a scary
warning to
those methods saying they *can't be used for reusable components*.
But then
again, RIFE emphasizes maintainability first, and a warning like
this would not
bode well, maintainability-wise.
