It is the Depeche Mode concert, or more correctly a DVD bootleg of the
Japanese Lasrerdisc version (With more tracks), yes.
The ac3 files that are getting the errors are not small, 14 and 17 megs.
(Tracks 1 and 2 are very small) I have played them all thru without errors
or audio problems with VLC (the first track is Shame, and the second is
Master & Servant).

I see that the VHS had 17 songs on it... is it possible What the two
dodgy tracks on your disc don't represent real songs? Are the files
very small? Are the tracks either side of the bad tracks listed
consecutively in the running order?
If so, it might be that those aren't really part of the audio (no idea
why! ...Intermission, perhaps?).
The Wikipedia article seems to be out of date; it has no information
about the DVD.
