WHAT?!? Did you actually read the article and look at the numbers??
To quote:

"They estimate that during 2006 Europeans will spend more than 385m
euros (£260m) on digital music - the majority of this spending will be
on tracks from Apple's iTunes store."

260m pounds is about 500 MILLION DOLLARS, and that's just the EUROPEAN
market. Man, if I had a product that generated HALF A BILLION in
annual revenue from just the European market and was still on a growth
path, I'd be the happiest product manager in Silicon Valley. Good
grief.

[164kb MP3 encoded library (wish FLAC had been around when I did most of
my ripping oh so long ago) -> PC -> 100 Mb network -> SB3 -> Denon 3805
(used mainly as a pre-amp / DSP) -> Speakercraft BB1265 running
whole-house audio, rack of assorted amps, mostly older Carvers or
Sunfires -> bi-amp'd Paradigm Reference Studio 100 V.3's, CC-570,
ADP-470's, and my own make of electrostatics (hence the rack of
Amps).]
