I'd appreciate some help getting my wav files to FLAC format. I have ripped a few cd's to wav in a gengre\artist\album\trackno-trackname format with eac. I tried to configure it to run FLAC after the rip but FLAC kept giving me file not found errors and i eventually decided to rip to wav and then try to use the gui\commandline to encode the various folders. Well, the FLAC frontend doesn't seem to be able to recuse through subdirectories to perform the encoding, and if i add the wav files that are in the various folders using the gui i get a "can't open input file "filename" : no such file or directory.
is there a good commandline\batch file that someone uses that i can set going and have FLAC just go through all the folders adding tags from the structure as it goes? -- Limping_Pylon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Limping_Pylon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8086 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32320 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
