This is a big issue with DVDs since most of them are dual layer. Several of mine with those really tight hubs are showing the beginnings of delamination. Got a throwaway DVD once and decided to see how hard this was to do. It was very easy to get this started at the centre but very hard to expand it to the data zone. Actually separating the layers was next to impossible, I needed a knife and even then the disc broke before I could get the layers apart. :-) I would have thought this wasn't an issue with CDs as they don't have two polycarbonate layers glued together, but since MFSL thought it was an issue there may be something to it. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=33418 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
